The Mumbai Higher oil area, the biggest in India, is located while in the Arabian Sea, somewhere around one hundred seventy km (a hundred and ten mi) west of Mumbai. It is operated by ONGC and creates oil and gasoline, that are transported by way of pipeline to a processing plant in Uran.[two] Situated in the northern part of the sphere at about
